Every Day is Earth Day

You and I, along with the animal kingdoms, ocean realm, sky worlds, fairy realms and elementals, are all Bridges of Love Light to heaven. Our Eden, Mother Earth, and all of her inhabitants are very alive and sentient beings and are here to be enjoyed, loved and nurtured

Now.

You and I, we, are beloved Bridges of Love and Light from Earth to heaven and back again in a constant movement of sharing our spiritual selves and Earth selves.

Each of us said we would help one of these beings or realms before we were born. I remembered this pre-birth agreement I had, saying I would help the oceans, cetaceans, trees, horses and dogs. You may have remembered your agreement also. If not consciously yet, you may begin having dreams of spirit animals or plants you are especially drawn to. It is fun, simple and satisfying to help our Earth Mother and our Father Sky.

Recognizing our Oneness with Heaven, Mother Earth and Father Sky, opens up infinite possibilities for creating the world we love to live in and share with others.

Trees, the standing people, love to interact with us. My grandson, Cooper, taught me how to hug a tree. He said, “You walk up to a tree and put your flat palm against it.”  A great way to start your conversation with a tree!

I love to stand in the middle of fairy ring trees. Trees that grow close together in a circle, leaving just enough room for you to stand in the middle. I love doing this and just being with the spirit of the trees. I sometimes put my back against the tree and feel its life force enlivening and strengthening me. Refreshing and inspiring.

Creating your own ceremonies and rituals with Mother Earth will bring you many benefits. One is what Glenda Green’s book, Love without End: Jesus Speaks, teaches us—innocent perception. We become as children and see Nature innocently. Instead of looking at a tree as we see a TV screen, we innocently perceive it. We feel its essence and discover its true nature and ours. This wonder and oneness transports us to our own innocence and love. We might wonder, how can I make this tree more comfortable? What does it need? I’ve found that when I take the time to perceive in this way, I feel more peace and well-being within myself.

Two websites I want to highlight again today are Mother Nature Network and Perelandra.

Each one has a wealth of nature research ongoing with infinite variety and ideas on how to understand our Earth Mother and All of her inhabitants, spiritually and physically.

Perelandra is a site that I have visited many times, and I always feel that I have barely scratched the surface. Machaelle Wright’s book Perelandra Soil-less Garden Companion is an exploration in how to see that everything in our lives– our work, home projects, and art– really are gardens. She works in very deep ways with the sprit of nature, and her work is not only revolutionary but very practical, with numerous healing tools and flower essences for sale. The site always sparks new ideas for me and is very healing by its nature of giving and sharing love.

Grandmother Earth, Mother Nature and You, Dear Heart

Would you like to have a simple and easy way to feel refreshed, energized and ready for a new day?

Yes?

When possible do this right at sunrise, or any time of day. Walk into your yard or a natural place and stand barefoot on Grandmother Earth. Turn slowly and thank each of the directions: East, South, West and North. As you do this, sense that each direction has a different quality and feel to it. When I face North, I feel Peaceful, mentally clear and calm. When I face South I feel my child within is ready to play. Facing East always brings me reverence and a willingness to have a new spiritual perspective, even in just small ways. I’ve always loved facing West, as I’ve had the joy of living near the Ocean for most of my life. Looking out to the Western Ocean horizon always brings me expansion, Peace, and creativity.

Next, feel the enlivening Earth energy rising up in you and giving you refreshment. Bend over at the waist, let your arms hang freely and just let go of any worries, doubts or fears. Slowly stand up straight, lift your arms up, open and reach for the sky, and allow the Father Sky Love-Light to fill you up with fresh, life-giving air. Thank each of the Elementals: Air, Water, Fire and Earth for the liveliness they give you.

Next, if you are able to, jump up and down. You are refreshed, reset and ready for a new day.

Today, I’d like to share books and a website that I have found to be valuable. Each have inspired, uplifted and healed me in a very real way.

“In order to enter a deeper relationship with Nature, I was required to become a participant with Nature rather than continue in the role of onlooker. I did not find this at all easy. I was propelled into a metaphysical reality, a reality I did not enter willingly… We come to this planet with a clearly defined destiny, but as soon as we take on human form, we forget it. Life then carries us kicking and screaming toward our perfect goal while we try our hardest to abort the mission.” – Journey into Nature: A Spiritual Adventure by Michael J. Roads

I love this book as it is a real journey into Nature where you meet Pan, the Spirit of Nature, and the beingness of trees, minerals, rivers and dolphins. A truly transformative delight.

The next book came to me as a very welcome surprise one Christmas, from my sister, Charmaine. I had wanted to read it, as in the early 1980’s I had the opportunity of visiting Findhorn in Scotland. The author, Dorothy Maclean, was one of the three founders of the Findhorn community. To Hear the Angels Sing is a book you can read over and over again and feel it is the first time. It is rich with meaning and understanding of the spiritual intelligence and unconditional Love in and of Nature.

“It is said that God is Love. This is so, and as creation becomes more conscious, it expresses greater love. The essence of life, no matter what its consciousness, is Love. This is true of all kingdoms, and man’s greatest contribution to life on the planet is consciously to love, and so to bring health, vigor and beauty to life.” – The Landscape Angel, To Hear the Angels Sing

Today, more than 40 years later, the Findhorn community has become a thriving Ecovillage offering many subjects in Biodynamic gardening and all the principles Findhorn is based on. The main theme is to become beneficial stewards of Grandmother Earth.

Perelandra-ltd.com is a site you could spend days on. It contains Machaelle Wright’s books (some you can read on the site), flower essence products and videos containing her products and lovely views of her Center for Nature Research in Jeffersonton, Virginia. This site is a treasure for sure. Enjoy.
