The Spirit of Water

In the Elemental realms Water is Love.

In the photograph above you can see how the water sprites love to have water as their play creations even when they are far from the ocean. Sprites normally play with water right at the edge of the waves where the water laps at the shoreline. I’ve always loved standing right on that edge right before going into the waves for a body surf. The tingling sensation makes me laugh. I can see why dolphins play right at this edge– and not just for fishing.

I’m far from the ocean today, but the sprites still give me reasons to smile: beauty and the infinite, daily variety of Mother Nature.

Here in the mountains, when there is fog at night and the temperature is dropping, the fog freezes in the night and creates beautiful crystals. They don’t last long in the bare-leaved aspens, as they are so delicate a slight breeze knocks them off the branches. Soon the sun will have enough warmth to melt them.

As in so many amazing occurrences in Mother Nature, the conditions are only right for these sprightly snowflakes to appear in the early morning two or three times in a winter.

I have loved getting to know Nature spirits over my lifetime. They are calling all of us to help heal the Animal Kingdom and the Elemental Kingdom.

Every grain of rice counts towards tipping the scales in the direction of a flourishing Mother Nature for all of her inhabitants.

Some simple and easy changes we all can make:

  • Eat organic foods, for you, the soils, waters, farmers and Mother Earth.
  • Water is healthiest in glass bottles. Single use plastic bottles are harmful on so many levels.
  • Grow your own food.
  • Plant flowers.

I’m very sure you can think of dozens of ways you can help the Elemental and Animal Kingdoms and You.

You are a bridge of love light for your family, friends, pets, plants, trees, home and neighbors.

Encounters With Fairies, Fauns and the Spirit of Mother Nature

Today for your summer reading and joy I want to share one of my favorite books, Encounters with Nature Spirits: Co-creating with the Elemental Kingdom, by R. Ogilvie Crombie. This book just came to me a few months ago as an unexpected gift. I love the Divine right timing as this beautiful story has reminded me in a very deep way of the power, joy and contribution we can all make to healing our Earth Mother when we co-operate with the Spirit of Nature.

In 1981, I had a magical journey to Findhorn. My friend Marilyn, who has an incredibly spectacular garden in the Santa Cruz Mountains in California, and I decided to travel to the North of Scotland to visit the Findhorn gardens we had read about.

As is inevitable in spiritual growth and adventure journeys, our experience of the gardens was not at all what we had expected. We didn’t know that the emphasis, at that brief period, was not on the garden, but on spiritual and community development. The gardens were integrated into the emphasis of co-creating with the spirit of nature. It was early March, and where the garden had been was dirt and divisions and paths made with stones.  We were disappointed, to say the least. That disappointment dissolved quickly, as we were to have some very amazing encounters with very amazing people and nature spirits.

One day, we were guided to an enchanting spot in a forest near a rushing stream. Our leader instructed us to become still and, within our heart, invite Pan, the non-localized spirit of nature, to come and visit us. I was hoping to have a visual of Pan, though that didn’t happen. I did have an overwhelming feeling of my love of nature and a powerful feeling of being connected to that place. Each of our group of about 20 participants had unique experiences, which we shared over dinner.

That experience was 40 years ago, though this wonderful story by ROC, R. Ogilvie Crombie, has brought it all back very vividly into my memories.

You can travel with ROC, and meet Pan, Fauns and Nature Spirits in this wonderful true story. His writing and accounts make the lands near Edinburgh, Scotland, including the Royal Botanic Gardens and Findhorn, come alive.

This treasure, came to me to inspire me to dedicate my energies to the healing of Grandmother Earth and Mother Nature.

I hope you will enjoy the adventure ROC takes you on. You may even have the wonder of meeting Pan.

Every Day is Earth Day

You and I, along with the animal kingdoms, ocean realm, sky worlds, fairy realms and elementals, are all Bridges of Love Light to heaven. Our Eden, Mother Earth, and all of her inhabitants are very alive and sentient beings and are here to be enjoyed, loved and nurtured

Now.

You and I, we, are beloved Bridges of Love and Light from Earth to heaven and back again in a constant movement of sharing our spiritual selves and Earth selves.

Each of us said we would help one of these beings or realms before we were born. I remembered this pre-birth agreement I had, saying I would help the oceans, cetaceans, trees, horses and dogs. You may have remembered your agreement also. If not consciously yet, you may begin having dreams of spirit animals or plants you are especially drawn to. It is fun, simple and satisfying to help our Earth Mother and our Father Sky.

Recognizing our Oneness with Heaven, Mother Earth and Father Sky, opens up infinite possibilities for creating the world we love to live in and share with others.

Trees, the standing people, love to interact with us. My grandson, Cooper, taught me how to hug a tree. He said, “You walk up to a tree and put your flat palm against it.”  A great way to start your conversation with a tree!

I love to stand in the middle of fairy ring trees. Trees that grow close together in a circle, leaving just enough room for you to stand in the middle. I love doing this and just being with the spirit of the trees. I sometimes put my back against the tree and feel its life force enlivening and strengthening me. Refreshing and inspiring.

Creating your own ceremonies and rituals with Mother Earth will bring you many benefits. One is what Glenda Green’s book, Love without End: Jesus Speaks, teaches us—innocent perception. We become as children and see Nature innocently. Instead of looking at a tree as we see a TV screen, we innocently perceive it. We feel its essence and discover its true nature and ours. This wonder and oneness transports us to our own innocence and love. We might wonder, how can I make this tree more comfortable? What does it need? I’ve found that when I take the time to perceive in this way, I feel more peace and well-being within myself.

Two websites I want to highlight again today are Mother Nature Network and Perelandra.

Each one has a wealth of nature research ongoing with infinite variety and ideas on how to understand our Earth Mother and All of her inhabitants, spiritually and physically.

Perelandra is a site that I have visited many times, and I always feel that I have barely scratched the surface. Machaelle Wright’s book Perelandra Soil-less Garden Companion is an exploration in how to see that everything in our lives– our work, home projects, and art– really are gardens. She works in very deep ways with the sprit of nature, and her work is not only revolutionary but very practical, with numerous healing tools and flower essences for sale. The site always sparks new ideas for me and is very healing by its nature of giving and sharing love.

Kudos — 7 Spirit Dolphins

painting done by my youngest daughter, Hana when she was 14
Painting by my youngest daughter, Hana, when she was 14.

There is a legend that says 12 times in humanity’s history the Golden Dolphins have wanted to share their secrets, and 12 times humanity was deemed not ready. Now is the 13th time, and humanity is ready to receive the wisdom of the ages for creating a Nova Earth, a heaven on Mother, or Grandmother, Earth. You, Dear Heart, are here to create that Paradise, and the Dolphins in Spirit or in body are here to help you.

So, let’s get started.

You are as innocent as the Dolphin’s smile. You are a Divine Child. In that part of you, your child within, you can receive messages from the Dolphin consciousness as they have abilities to communicate telepathically, as you do. Water is the wonderful Love medium that helps us receive Spiritual messages, whether in the deep ocean or taking a bath or shower. The Golden, or Spirit, Dolphins want us to remember our Oneness with all that is. Awakening to all of our mystical and miracle abilities will happen when we understand that these abilities are commanded by Love, with our understanding our Oneness. Telepathy, psychic awareness, psychokinesis and advanced manifesting techniques will do no harm when commanded by Love.

Dolphins are very willing and eager to teach us about the power and joy of conscious group awareness and creativity. Working together towards common goals we will have so much more time left over for fun. Dolphins work together to move a school of fish close to shore, encircling them so their meal is easy to catch and there is plenty for all– with time left over for play and fun.

When I first began channeling, I learned easily how to channel Sananda, though my main obstacle was doubt and my feeling of being unworthy. With practice, healing and Spiritual growth over the years, this practice and ability became very real and very helpful for myself, friends and family. Channeling Dolphins is an entirely different story that is still being written.

Kudos has taught me in ways that have taken me years to understand. A couple of years after opening to channel I felt compelled to learn how to scuba dive. Fun. Yay! Joy— until our third open-Water dive. Our new instructor decided to take us to an advanced dive spot that our previous teacher had told us not to dive until we were experienced. Fear crept in, and I wondered why she was taking us to this spot when our lessons included taking off our masks and dropping and and retrieving our weight belts. The ocean surge above us became so strong (we were down about 25 feet) that it was dizzying. My fear turned to terror as I felt drowning may be a possibility, when I heard the sweetest sound in my awareness. It was Kudos.

They said: “We didn’t bring you here to drown you. We want you to feel us in our element.” I regained calm and finished the lessons. The next dive was pure bliss.

About a week later we had our deep-Water, 60-feet dive. For this dive, I understood what Kudos was teaching me: the peace, beauty, silence and bliss of the deep ocean. Indescribable.

One fun part was seeing all of the sea life alive and swimming. The kelp beds swaying, clams, sea snails, star fish, sand dollars and scallops all moving and colorful. Fish and baby sea lions nipping at our fins. All together and moving. Such a contrast to the weathered and bleached lifeless forms on the beach. Movement, harmony, silence, peace and beauty were my rewards for trusting Kudos’ guidance. I can remember every moment of that dive, even though it was 30 years ago.

A wonderful book that can take you into the Spirit of Dolphins energetically is Angels of the Sea: Sacred Dolphin Art of Atlantis, by Michele Gold. One of my favorite books of all time. She manifested her trip to the Bahamas to swim with Wild Dolphins all with the help of Spirit Dolphin guidance.

Her art translates her experiences in vivid images that take the viewer into the Dolphin world and consciousness.
