Magic Gardens

Photo by Nina Wilkins. Magic Gardens by Corinne Heline

Magic Gardens and Tea have been among my favorite pastimes since I was 14 years old when I was taken to a Magic Garden and Tea party in Corona Del Mar, California. The garden is still there and is now called Sherman Gardens.

When I was 18 years old I had my first Jasmine tea in China Town, San Francisco. At the time, I didn’t know it was Jasmine tea, I just knew I loved the fragrance and the tea. I asked the waitress what kind of tea it was, and she just shook her head and said, “Chinese.” I carried the tea bag paper in my purse for years trying to discover what it was. Many years later I discovered in another Chinese restaurant that it was Jasmine tea, which, over the years, has become one of my favorites. The photo below is of dried Jasmine flowers that are available at herbco.com. You can add them to any green tea or experiment with making your own herbal tea blends.

I love resale shops. They contain so much variety, and often the goods span the decades. I discovered Magic Gardens at a resale shop many years ago. It has become one of my favorite books, even though I can only read one small chapter, or sometimes only one page at a time. The vibration is very high, and you can feel it was written by the angels. It contains joy and sadness in its pages; nostalgia and hope. “Heaven’s Love through flowers” is how I would describe it. The first edition, by New Age Press, was in 1944. I have the fourth edition from 1974.

For this upcoming Valentine’s Day I wanted to share parts of it with you:

In Flowerland the whispers of heaven may become audible to the children of men and women; for the celestial hosts, too, have a way of “saying it with flowers.”

The Peace Flower, Legend of the Jasmine

Angels hold converse with each other and with mortals by means of color. An assemblage of angels when engaged in healing prayers for the bestowal of blessings upon humanity appear as a glory of variegated clouds that fleck the sky in the hours of dawn or at sunset time.

…Winging through the vast ethereal expanses, hosts of angels gather some of the fairest, whitest, and most fragrant blossoms which adorn their etheric Land of Eternal Peace. These flowers they bring to the dust-haunted aisles of Earth. They are of ethereal whiteness and celestial sweetness, for of all the flowers the Jasmine is most fragrant.

The snowy  whiteness of the Jasmine- flower reflects the divine peace; its  fragrance, the prayers of angels. And… from its petals are broadcast the powers of peace.

So, if you haven’t yet experienced the bliss of Jasmine tea, I invite you to try it and be blessed.

Flower Essences

Flowers, Gardens and Flower Essences have always been some of my favorite bridges of love light. Whether I’m in very intense circumstances or just a slight melancholy mood they have never failed to uplift me. I have written extensively about their inspirational and uplifting properties in this blog.  Today I will expand upon those.

I first was aware of the Scarlet Pimpernel when I was nine years old. I was helping my Mom weed our garden and she was pulling out heaps of Scarlet Pimpernels. At the time, I didn’t know their name, and neither did she. I said, “Mom, these are so pretty. They don’t look like weeds.” “No, they are weeds.”

I was looking closely at them with their delicate color and sweet shape. I couldn’t really believe they were weeds, and felt a little sad seeing them piled up and then tossed in the garbage can. The other sad part was we just left plain dirt in that spot and didn’t plant more flowers. It was about 50 years later that I discovered their name and very real significance in my life.

These little flowers, which are called the wayside flowers or “weather glass” in the United Kingdom, would become my guide and teacher over many years. They are called the “Weather Glass” because when they are open, a sunny day; closed, rain or fog. Their presence has had such a positive and helpful effect on my personal, spiritual life that I have decided to write a book about them.

I will be excerpting portions of this book over the next few months: Sananda’s Flower, The Scarlet Pimpernel. Seeing the great in the small and the small in the great. Copyright 2021, by Nina Lee Wilkins.

Scarlet Pimpernels. Photo by Nina Wilkins

Today I hope you will receive an uplift as I have from the Photographs of these Flowers. The “Scarlets,” as I like to call them, are in the photo above.

Over the years, I have used and discovered many flower essence companies. Bach Flower Essences, the leader, and several others. I have looked for a company that has made “Scarlet Pimpernel” essences and just found one a few months ago; Green Hope Farm. I ordered the Scarlet Pimpernel from Ireland, delightful, and one from Italy. I love them both; such a discovery and surprise after all these years. I have made my own, also, which always gives me joy.

Green Hope Farm is a treasure if you are new at using flower essences or have tried many other companies. Either way, these are the highest frequencies I have discovered so far.

I receive benefits just by reading their descriptions on their website.

Whether looking at photos of flowers with their amazing ethereal colors, using flower essences or using essential oils as aroma therapy or skin conditioner, or sitting next to them in your garden, flowers are my favorite bridges of love light. Don’t forget, flowers live for appreciation. As you tell them how much you appreciate them you may even even see them nod or turn their  head towards you. Sananda has told me often that they are helping heal Grandmother Earth and Mother Nature, including us.

The Magic, Miracles and Mystery of Water, Part 4

UPDATE:

In addition to singing the Water song, which will bless all Waters and enliven them, we can remember to bless our Water as it rushes out of our tap, in our showers and while Watering our gardens. As we bless our Water, we are acknowledging the Oneness of Love, as Water is Love in the elemental realms. As we acknowledge the elementals, we contribute to the healing of Mother Nature and Grandmother Earth.

When acknowledging the life-giving element of Water and thanking it, we also begin to remember to thank all of the other elements: Earth, Air and Fire.

Stand on the Earth barefoot and feel the Life surging up and giving you wellness. Breathe in the refreshing sustenance of Air and thank it. Breathe deeply and feel the Prana giving you peace of mind. Take a Sun bath and feel the warmth of the sun, Fire, bringing you a clearing and remembrance of your Spiritual Nature and deep connection with your Creator.

Each element deserves our Love and care and acknowledgement. This simple act will contribute to Humanity’s awakening and the remembrance that we are all caretakers of Divine Mother Nature and Grandmother Earth.

Remembering to thank the Elementals can bring us to a remembrance of the gifts and power of the four Directions.
The South reminds us of our childlike innocence and to play and create fun every day.
The North reminds us that we always have direction, guidance, clarity and the stars above to refresh our dreams.
The West feeds our creativity and gives us a sense of discovery and adventure, along with enlivening our creativity.
The East helps us know we are growing Spiritually.

Each Element and Direction also have Devas, Nature Spirits and Angels working with them, just as you have your Guardian Angel working with you always and forever.

God has given us all for us to receive and take care of. As we do these simple acts we are aligned with our Good and expressing our true Divinity.

With Love and Appreciation for You.
Love,
Nina

Another Miracle of Water is its sound. The sounds of ocean waves, rushing Waterfalls, and the lapping of Water in a quiet bay all have the ability to calm or invigorate us. Fountains have a unique soothing sound. Hearing the sound of a stone plopping down in a river can transport us to our childhood fun of skipping rocks. Sitting next to a calm lake can take us into a serene meditation. The Sound of silence and deep quiet that comes from walking in new-fallen snow easily allows reflection and inner stillness.

We can reciprocate these miracles of sound that Water gives us by singing to it. As we sing to Water many wonderful things happen. As we sing to Water we open to, and allow for, the possibility of the oneness we share not only with Water but all of the elements, Mother Nature and our family, friends and the Universe of Love. Singing to Water is a way to bring more Joy to all concerned.

I had a friend who (back in the day when we all had answering machines) had in his outgoing message, “Please sing Your message.” I would always laugh and then I would sing my message even though I am not a good singer. That simple little act of singing uplifted me.

As the Law of Attraction would have it, just yesterday, I came across the video below. Singing to Water. Wonderful. For just moments a day we can all send the love and thanks to Water that it gives to us. A very real way to tell ourselves that we are part of the whole Universe of good. Understanding this higher and Cosmic consciousness can help us be more aware in our own consciousness of new ways to enhance our own wellness. Sound is a very potent way for us to feel good; music, drumming, singing, listening to our favorite songs, can uplift. Some of my favorites are whale songs and dolphin clicks and whistles. The didgeridoo makes me feel part of Mother Nature. Water is like that; it is cleared and uplifted by our love songs.

I invite you today to sing to Water as instructed in the video below. Thank you.
I have transcribed the song for you:

Sing the Water Song

Sing to the Water four times, once in each direction. East, South, West, North.
Phonetic Lyrics:
Nee bee wah bow
En die en
Aah Key mis kquee
Nee bee wah bow
Hey ya hey ya hey ya hey
Hey ya hey ya hey ya hey
Hey ya hey ya hey ya ho.

Thank you very much for participating.

L o v e

I have always loved Love: Divine Mother Father Love, romantic love, brother-sister Love. Spiritual Love, family love, friendship love, pet love, and love of Grandmother Earth and Mother Nature.  I love our elementals: Earth, Air, Fire and Water, and Humanity. We have been called “the fifth element.” Today I will focus on love of water.

Water is Love in the elemental realm.

Water washes away our sadness through cleansing and renewing tears. Our morning showers are a true gift of our modern world as they get us ready for this Day. I’m sure you can think of thousands of ways, as I can, that demonstrate water’s love. One is the water cycle, or circle.

L O V E. The letters are the symbols of love forwards and backwards.

Forwards, the L points to the circle, O, which in sacred geometry is Love: wholeness, never ending, inclusive, the vibration or frequency of Divine Love being all in all. The V holds the Love, while the E gives it the energy to manifest.

E V O L is the spelling backward. Love helps us evolve our personality into our true self, which is LOVE. We are created out of Love, and are still Love.

When I ask my Spiritual teacher, Sananda, how can I best serve my family, friends and Mother Nature, he always gives me the same guidance: be the Love that you are in, Mind, Spirit and actions.

My actions in Love for 2021 will be focused on self love. Self acceptance, being love and loving the elementals.

One way I love the ocean, which when clean and shepherded by wisdom can feed one billion people,  is to pray for and tithe to Oceana.Org. This non-profit is actively working for the health of the Ocean and its inhabitants on many fronts. You may read about their many successes on their website.

Soon we will have the technology to clarify and purify Ocean water on a large scale, which will give its health-giving and life-giving qualities to All on our Earth.

“You may say I’m a dreamer, but I’m not the only one.” – John Lennon.

We have entered the Age of Aquarius, The Water Bearer, where the Power of LOVE is NOW overcoming the Love of Power.

My Dear friend, Janette, often sings this song to the chefs in the kitchen where we have lunch, to people on the street where she lives, and at the beginning of our prayer circle: “Love is the opening door, love is what we came here for. Have your eyes really seen?” Thank you, Janette.

The pictures I took for today are symbols of my Ocean love and a feather, which in many cultural and spiritual traditions means “answered prayers.” The conch shell always reminds me that sound frequencies can bring peace and harmony.

With very much love for you and your family and friends and their family and friends, and their family and friends, continuing around our sacred blue planet with its incredible Oceans of abundant LOVE.

Happy New Year, 2021

It is the Dawning of the Age of Aquarius, The Water Bearer, Love. This Age is all about Love.

Love as a force for Good. Love as a healer, a salve for our overtaxed nervous systems and emotional bodies. Love as a creative force in our Lives.

The guidance I received for myself for this year is to Love myself, accept myself, be kind to myself and LOVE and cherish all the family, friends and gifts from Mother Nature I have in my life. Maybe that is your guidance, too.

Aquarius is all about communication, teamwork, cooperation. Working, playing and creating for the highest good of all including Grandmother Earth and Mother Nature, will bring you abundance to enjoy and share. This basis of altruism is coming just in time as we see the World around us in Chaos. We are each the change we long for by being and sharing our unique perspectives and gifts. Do, Be, Do, Be, Do. Just Be the Love that you are and everything else will line up for you. Allow your Good.

We are Bridges of Love and Light for each other. Some of my favorite Bridges are my books. Books comprise the bulk of my possessions. One of my new treasured books was given to me for Christmas by one of my daughters, Roeya. I love it. This book has it all: love, joy, beautiful art, wisdom from the heart of a boy, mole, fox and horse. These four beings of Mother Nature tell us all we need to know in pure, simple terms and drawings that uplift and inspire. It is a stunning graphic novel by Charlie Mackesy, The Boy, the Mole, the Fox and the Horse.

Give your self a real treat and obtain this book.

Charlie Mackesy’s humanity, kindness and spirit shine through every word and drawing.

In addition to this wonderful work he has done a Lithograph project with Nelson Mandela, The Unity Series. His humanity and love for the Earth is also demonstrated by an enterprise he co-runs in Zambia, Mama Buci, which helps low-to-no-income families become Beekeepers.

From the back cover:  “Love, friendship and kindness—this book speaks a universal language.” -Bear Grylls ( my favorite wilderness guide and teacher.)

“The world that I am required to inhabit is this one. But the World that I long to inhabit is the one that Charlie Mackesy has created.” -Elizabeth Gilbert, Eat, Pray, Love

I have already read this book from cover to cover three times. Each time I am uplifted and inspired.

Enjoy.

WATER, WALKING and WORDS, Part 4*

Water is Love in the elemental realms and is Love for You. If you have any doubts about how powerful your thoughts and words are, you might do the rice experiment from Masaru Emoto outlined in this blog.

Water

Any Divine quality is forever. Water has memory and the Divine qualities added to it are forever. Luckily memories, thoughts and words that are not of the Divine fall away and dissipate or are transmuted into light by the natural elements.

When we create with love, some form of our creation will last forever.

I created the simple sand drawing of Love above, knowing the tide would bring the water up to cover it and take the vibration of Love around the world. This simple healing with the power of Love, and the transference of thought into water, combined with the memory of water would add to the healing of the Oceans.

Masaru Emoto calls this the “Hado of Water,” a Japanese term that means healing or spirit of water. He felt the Hado of Water is what inspired and motivated him to do his research with water.

His book, The Healing Power of Water, includes 21 separate articles from many different researchers from the disciplines of Science, Healing and Spirit. I highly recommend this book for its synthesis of amazing findings in the field and the inspiration it gives. The theme reiterated from people of different walks of life, and from around the world in different cultures, is the thought that water is healing, magical, life giving and mystical. William A. Tiller, Ph.D; Petra Bracht, M.D.; Doreen Virtue, Ph.D and William Bloom, PhD. are among some of the authors in this book. I hope you will enjoy this study as much as I have and continue to.

Included in the YouTube video below is a conversation with Dr. Emoto and description of his rice experiment, which you can do at home to demonstrate these principles easily.

Another resource for you is from Patricia Cota-Robles, eraofpeace.org. Her organization offers free of charge a sample of healing water collected from 100 sites around the world where healings have taken place at waterfalls, wells, rivers, lakes and streams. Examples are Lourdes, France; the Ganges in India; Iona Abbey in Scotland and many more.  She sends with it instructions on how to activate this into a larger amount for you to use. You just need to request it, and she will send it to you by mail.

Green Renaissance

What a wonderful thought: Green Renaissance.

I believe that this is happening all over Grandmother Earth, and in Mother Nature.

I discovered these YouTube videos by that name this week. They are so exceptional I wanted to share them with you. Each is filmed on location in either New Zealand; South Africa; the Faroe Islands; St. Helena, Scotland; or Eigg (an Island off the coast of Scotland).

I had never heard of the Faroe Islands. They are a group of islands in the North Atlantic between Denmark and Iceland. They are part of the Commonwealth of Denmark. What a surprising and delightful discovery.

Each video is only five or nine minutes, and shows a slice of life of unique individuals living in these areas. The filmmakers (I definitely call these films) give an artistic look and give brief biographies of people living in these remote lands.

What a treat. I wanted to share these with you for Thanksgiving.

Each mini film is a celebration of life, which includes Mother Nature, with People who love her and have made a conscious decision to live with her in Love with her animals, plants, trees and elements.

In the video above, “Soul Animals,” I am transported to a time when I had my first horse, H.R.,  High Regard. He definitely was my soul animal with all that phrase could entail. My spirit animal. No words really could describe the feelings of complete contentment, along with wonder, that he gave me.

A special day with him came when I received a rare visit from my Mom. We had a fun day out in Carmel. It was drawing toward dusk and I said, “Would you like to go and hear H.R. eat?” I loved the expression on her face, and then she realized I was serious. We could drive right up to the fence near where he was eating. I had her open her window so she could hear him eat. “Don’t you just love this, Mom?” I felt she didn’t quite “get it,” but was willing to let me have the joy and complete contentment it gave me. I’m sure she did receive the beauty of H.R., and the setting of his corral in the Carmel Hills, with the sweet fragrance of hay. A moment in time so sweet that I can remember every detail: Love.

I read once that a pasture is so much more beautiful with a horse in it.  If you are lucky enough to have a horse, dog, cat or pet in your life, you are lucky enough.

Love, Peace, Harmony

A few years ago I wrote and colored these cards with the intention of uplifting my family and friends and the U.S. Postal Service. I felt that if I sent these post cards an anonymous someone– a mail clerk or family member who was not the intended receiver– might see the message and smile. That thought, my own secret invisible garden, made it fun for me to create and send these post cards.

First I would go sit on a bench by one of my favorite Oak trees in the City Park of downtown Carmel, California, and wait until I could feel my inner child’s heart connection with Divine Love and the Spirit of Nature. I wanted the energy of innocence, Love and the Spirit of Nature in the cards, along with the healing color frequencies.

Today, as you look at these cards, my wish is that you receive these frequencies to remind you of your Divinity and that you are cherished and loved.

Often in my life I have received inspiration, healing and a sense of Peace from Mother Nature. Animals, Flowers, Trees, the Ocean, Dolphins, Whales and sweet breezes carried by the Sylphs have been a creative force in my life.

One animal that has appeared to me when I needed it most is the Deer. In the Animal Kingdom, Deer represent gentleness. They also are highly aware of what is around them in the forest and have a keen sense of hearing. I’ve loved when I have had the opportunity of watching deer unnoticed by them. If they receive a hint of danger they start moving gently and quietly until sure, then their quick run and jumps bring them to safety. One of my favorite qualities of deer is their sensitivity to innocence, as is shown by the YouTube video here. Lately, every day I find videos of fawns finding a door open to someone’s home or available deck and they curl up and take a nap. As you watch this video, allow your own innocence to be realized. You are Loved.

Last year I discovered an Archangel Animal Oracle Card deck from Diana Cooper. It is very uplifting and increases our awareness of the beauty, power and Soul of the Animal Kingdom. We are uplifted and healed by animals, domesticated and wild, every day, whether we are aware of it or not. Their service to humanity is immeasurable in the true sense of that word. One of my favorite parts of this deck is Diana tells us of the service each animal gives to our Grandmother Earth, and Mother Nature, who we are part of.

Pick some of your favorite animals that live on land or in the Sea and send them love and gratitude from your heart. They will receive it and benefit greatly.

I recently viewed these documentaries on Netflix: Kiss the Ground, showing current real-life ways scientists, ranchers and farmers are restoring soil, which is a major component of reducing Global Carbon emissions. Brave Blue World: Racing to Solve Our Water Crisis. This amazing documentary travels the globe showing the innovations to sustainable and sanitary water solutions. It is inspiring and hopeful, which also motivates individual creative water solutions. Alongside this is Down to Earth, Zac Efron’s documentary series, especially the one in Paris, showing their progress with Sustainable Water Solutions.

Each of these documentaries is well worth your viewing time.

Unicorns

“The art of life is to live in the present moment and to make that moment as perfect as we can by the realization that we are the instruments and expression of God.” – Emmet Fox

Emmet Fox was a spiritual leader, teacher, healer, mystic and minister. He had a large Divine Science congregation in New York City through the Great Depression and 1940s. I have loved and used his book Around the Year with Emmet Fox. It contains 365 days of spiritual interpretations of Bible quotes and inspirations. I was surprised and delighted when I read day 251, and it was about Unicorns. It uplifted me so much that I’m including it here in its entirety.

It is my preamble to a current-day Unicorn documentary pilot from Diana Cooper, who has the “School of White Light.” She has a new book out, Unicorns, which I intend to read.

I hope you will delight in Emmet’s following quote and Diana’s YouTube video below.

The Unicorn

As long as we insist upon telling God His business, nothing very much can come of our prayers.

The ox, the mule, the donkey, will obediently pull your plow and your cart, and take them, where you want to go; but you have to know where that is, and how to get there.

The Unicorn will not do chores.

He will not pull a cart or turn a mill. He will not take orders. The Unicorn knows where he is going, and it is always somewhere that you could not choose because you never heard of it; and in your present consciousness you could not even dream that such a place could exist.

Nevertheless, there are such places, and the Unicorn knows them, and is not interested in anything less. Some day it may happen, probably when you least expect it, that the Unicorn will suddenly appear, at your side, eyes flashing, nostrils quivering, pawing the ground with impatience. When this happens, do not try to put a bridle on him, or to look for some task for him to do. He will not do it, and there will not be time. No sooner, seemingly, has he appeared than off he will go again. So do not pause, but leap upon his back, for he is a flying steed, and he wings his way to the gates of the morning.

On that ride, problems are not solved—they disappear.

Will the unicorn be willing to serve thee, or abide by thy crib? Canst thou bind the unicorn with his band in the furrow? Or will he harrow the valleys after thee?” (Job 39:9-10, King James Version of the Bible)

The Divine Mystery of Water

Teton Creek & three peaks of Grand Tetons; Photo by Hana Wilkins

In the elemental realm, Water is the manifestation of Love. You are the manifestation of Love. Divine Love is a mystery in all of her ways. You and I, and many of the manifested beings on our “Blue Marble,” Earth, are made up of a large percentage of Water. It fascinates me that our physical body content of Water nearly equals the percentage of Water that makes up our Dear Earth Mother. As we are the holy, sacred and beloved manifestation of the Divine, so is the Earth and Water.

Years ago I learned that the elements of Hydrogen and Oxygen were not supposed to go together in the scientific arrangement of H2O. That in itself is a mystery. For some reason that makes me happy. Add to that the other unusual properties of Water– that it can be a liquid, solid or gas– and you have the beginning of a study that can take you into infinite spiritual and scientific realms of inquiry. Add to these elements the life-giving and transformative, healing properties of Water, and you have sufficient motivation to help the Waters of the World.

Exploring the mystical properties of Water can bring you an increase in your intuition, wellness, inspiration and creative abilities. You probably have noticed that you get your best ideas in the shower. I get my best ideas swimming, or being near any body of natural Water. Holding a glass of Water, thanking it and drinking it works well also.

When we study the work of Masaru Emoto we can begin to understand the mystery of Water. He discovered that water has memory. Water responds to our thoughts and feelings of Love in remarkable and powerful healing ways, as demonstrated in his rice experiment and in a myriad of different ways in his book The Healing Power of Water.

A crucial and potent way that our understanding of the practices of using the Divine Mystery of Water is our consciousness raises and shifts. Homeopathic remedies, flower essences, spa treatments, bathing in hot springs or any natural body of Water, have the ability to lift our consciousness and raise our frequency. Something as simple as a hot bath can change our whole outlook, which in turn helps us attract our good. Understanding and using the memory of Water contains infinite ways we can help ourselves and the world’s Water.

Patricia Cota Robles offers sacred healing Water for free on her website, EraOfPeace.org. Waters from 100 sacred wells, rivers or springs from around the world have been collected. Written instructions for the ritual and invocation are included with the package containing the vial of Water. I am always amazed and refreshed just reading about the locations of all of the sites around the globe from which the Waters have been collected. It’s easy and free to order this Water. Enjoy.

I enjoy creating Water ceremonies and rituals for myself and the Oceans. One that always makes me smile and feel my connection with the wholeness of the Waters of the Earth is simple. To a container of the purest Water you have (natural spring Water is best), add your feeling of Love. Hold the container next to your heart and fill it with gratitude for its life-giving and healing properties. Next, if you are near a creek, river, lake or ocean, pour out the Water you have blessed. If you are unable to give your holy Water to a natural body of Water, pour it on your plants. It will find its way to the ocean by its inherent property of being a part of the wholeness of the complete Water cycle. Masaru Emoto teaches us that the Hado, or Spirit of Water, is what prompted him to do his research studies, and that it took him around the World teaching about Water’s Divine Mystery. I Invite you to see what the Hado of Water can do for you. You might be very surprised. Don’t we always love a good mystery?
