Transformation

We are all transforming hour by hour into our Highest  Self.

Life on Grandmother Earth, Gaia, Patchamama at this time is an amazing adventure that is not for the faint of heart when experienced in its fullness.

Grandmother Earth, Mother Nature, has everything we need for a healthy, happy and abundant Life.

Eckhart Tolle’s book Stillness Speaks has one of my favorite phrases, “Mother Nature, as it were, has been waiting for us for millions of years.” Now is our time. We can listen to Nature and be amazed, delighted, healed, inspired and Happy.

I chose the top video today from John Denver, because I have had similar experiences, like the one he sings about, driving down the California coast in Big Sur. I love his phrase that he caught this song, “Perhaps Love,” as it flew by him. That he had to catch it.

Our own creativity in song writing, baking, problem solving or Art can be like that. We have to catch it, because it is in our higher, illogical and/or Spiritual parts of ourselves.

The middle video demonstrates how John deeply and reverently loved Nature. Part of why he loves Mother Nature so much is it listens to him.

I have experienced  that truth  for myself. I will be walking and asking for the assurance that I’m on my right Spiritual path, and I will receive any number of signs that are meaningful to me. One of my totems is the mourning Dove. Often, right after I ask, one will fly right in front of me. Others are angel forms in the clouds, or the sun breaking through the clouds or a baby Moose appearing across the street. (Photo below.)

Mother Nature speaks and listens to us and Gives us abundance, peace and Life. Now is our turn to give back in ways that are meaningful and joyful for our own unique Beingness.

Wishing you wonderful nature walks, happy gardening and co-creating the life you love with your own High Self, friends, family and Mother Nature.

Mother Nature, Now and Our New Earth

I love books.

Books have been my teachers, friends and healers since I was nine years old.

Our Aquarian Age, that we have entered, includes several main qualities that will hold us in very new frequencies as a Unified consciousness: Mother Nature, Now, and a New Earth are among them.

For your summer reading, and for me, my ongoing reading, I have included my favorite of  Eckhart Tolle’s powerful books that are about these three qualities: Stillness Speaks, The Power of Now and A New Earth. Each teaches us that we have a deep connection to our unique selves that can be easily reached and discovered simply by being in the Now, stillness and breathing. BEING.

Each book has its own special teachings.

Over my own conscious spiritual journey I have discovered many spirit guides who have taught me “to be still and know that I am God.”

The Now helps us connect deeply with Presence, which brings us joy, wisdom and peace.

I have used each of these books, over the years as inspirational guides and teachers.

The first, Stillness Speaks, contains one of my favorite ideas: “Nature can bring you to stillness. That is its gift to you. When you perceive and join with nature in the field of stillness, that field becomes permeated with your awareness. That is your gift to nature.

“Through you Nature becomes aware of itself. Nature has been waiting for you, as it were, for millions of years.”

Next is The Power of Now. This is a spiritual guide and course. The Now contains our freedom and joy. Our true being.

Eckhart’s  A New Earth, Awakening to Your Life’s Purpose, teaches us how to transcend our ego-based state of consciousness. We increase our happiness and help awakening humanity to be fully present. Being conscious allows us the knowingness that we are all One and are connected to ALL that is.

I’m sure if you decide to jump into any or all of these books they will take you well into the Fall, or Winter, Spring, or maybe back to Summer again.

Happy reading and experiencing the joy of being in the Now.

A Higher Perspective

There are powerful spiritual Laws we can all learn and use.

Emily Dickinson said it: “All I know of Love, is Love is all there is.”

“Be still and know that I am God.” The presence of our Creator wells up within us in the stillness. We feel peace and joy.

I love Eckhart Tolle’s book Stillness Speaks, a wonderful book that affirms this idea.
Meditating is the ideal way to hear your still, small voice. The YouTube video at the end of this blog is a meditation with Eckhart Tolle. It’s not a lecture. You can meditate right along with Eckhart. It brought me so much peace and the feeling that all is well.

God is Love and everywhere present.

“Our only responsibility is to accept the Atonement for ourselves.” Atonement means being at one with our Creator and all that is, Oneness. (Via “A Course in Miracles,” Foundation for Inner Peace.)

“Birds of a feather flock together”– My mom’s favorite expression. Better known as the Law of Attraction.

You are a perfect, unique, innocent, child of God, who loves you beyond your comprehension. You inherited your Father-Mother God’s ability to create. You create by your thoughts, words and feelings. Tell the story to yourself and others, your story, the story that you WANT to live. As we affirm and tell our story the way we want it to be we create it. We need to believe it to see it. — Sananda, Abraham and Saint Germaine

There are two very important components to manifesting, allowing and receiving your Good. One, Forgiveness of yourself and others, and two, BEING in the qualities of gratitude, thanks and appreciation.

Forgiveness returns us to love. A wonderful book by that name, A Return to Love, by Marianne Williamson, teaches us, in depth, how Love does its job as we forgive ourselves and others.

Thanks, Gratitude and Appreciation put us in the vibration of Love where we can create and allow our good. A wonderful book, Ask and It is Given, by Esther and Jerry Hicks, teaches us the nuts and bolts of vibrational creation and manifesting, by using rampages of appreciation and intentionally feeling good by focusing on what we want to create.

Note: we also have the ability to temporarily block our good by un-love, which is in truth a fiction because Love is all there is. We do this by using our free will backwards by criticizing, condemning and complaining. We can quickly jump forward by realizing we are love and have the ability to create a wonderful life for ourselves by returning to Love.

There you have it. Many of the simple yet powerful laws of the Universe that manifest in infinite ways.

So, as Abraham says, through the Hicks material, the most important thing is for us to feel good. As we feel good we can create our desires.

Enjoy the fun, joy and satisfaction of creating your good by letting Love do its job.

The Precious Present

Our resident moose, by H.L. Wilkins

One reason I love photographs is the precious present is captured.

I sat down on the couch to take a little break in the sun, which we haven’t seen much of for some time. The bright light came streaming in. I relaxed and stretched out and soon the kitty, Gobbles, who is quite large and long, stretched out on my shoulder and back, purring loudly. Then Hana’s dog, Lola, stretched out on my legs. Within moments we were all sunbathing, and I received a full blown reiki treatment from our pets. In those moments I felt pure peace and comfort. Pure relaxation in the sun.

One of my favorite lyrics to a popular song is “a moment in the Soul will last forever.” Since I was in my beingness, or soul, in that moment, I can draw on that experience over and over because I was in the precious present. Pure delight in the moment can be revisited by memory.

Time is funny that way; it is a paradox. Linear time is a mental construct. Real time is multidimensional, and when it intersects with your inner being becomes presence.

“The precious present allows Presence to bubble up.” —Kudos, 7 spirit Dolphins 🐬

In a book by that name that came out in the ’80s, “The Precious Present,” the students of a master spiritual teacher were at his bedside as he was near passing. He had requested some chocolate cake. They asked him: “Master, you have attained great wisdom in your life. What would you like to tell us?” He replied, “This cake is delicious.”

Eckhart Tolle, one of my favorite spiritual teachers, is on a world tour currently teaching these principles. He has many YouTube videos, which I watch, and each time I love the often long pause he takes before answering questions from the audience. He allows presence to well up and answer the question. I always am uplifted from his work. I hope you will take advantage of this bridge of love light readily available to all.

“Ask yourself: Is there joy, ease, and lightness in what I am doing? If there isn’t, then time is covering up the present moment, and life is perceived as a burden or a struggle.” —Eckhart Tolle

I highly recommend his books, especially “The Power of Now” and “Stillness Speaks.” We are now in the Aquarian Age, and one of the ways we work is by the power of now.

I included these photos of our resident neighborhood baby moose, as I never would have seen her if I hadn’t been present following my intuition. That is one of my favorite parts of synchronicity. I feel I have been given a gift by the Universe of Good.

Our mindfulness and practicing presence is not just for us. It joins us with All in Unity and Oneness—LOVE.

Sound, Music and Frequency

We have explored many Bridges of Love Light in this blog. One that is very potent, and that the Angels Love, is Sound: Musical vibration and frequency. We touched upon the bridge of silence in a previous blog; The Music of Silence, Stillness Speaks, and “Be still and know that I am God.” Today we will explore the powerful bridge of Music and Sound. In Stillness, you might hear the Music of the spheres as the Angels do.

Nature Sounds are some of my favorites. A wonderful movie that demonstrates the power of Sound is August Rush. The young orphan, played by Freddie Highmore, hears rhythms and Music in natural Sounds that no one else does. He really hears “the beat of his own drummer” and holds to his faith that Music will bring his parents to him. If you have missed that one, I highly recommend it.

I have included today two videos from Liberace. He played the piano with so much joy that you cannot help but be uplifted by it. The piano allows us to hear each individual note and its vibration or Frequency. An activity worth your time and attention is exploring what Frequencies and Music uplift you.

The Sounds of the Ocean waves, shore birds (particularly sea gulls) and sea lions were my companions for most of my life. These Sounds soothed me and brought peace and inspiration. Now that I live in the mountains, I have found new nature Sounds: the migration of Canadian Snow Geese, the rustle of the aspen leaves and the squawk of our neighborhood magpie. Another is the Sound of silence in the new-fallen snow.

In exploring vibration and Frequency there are many avenues. Some that I enjoy are Tibetan bells; drums; crystal singing bowls; tuning forks (a complete set costs about $140). You can explore tuning your own vibration the way a piano is tuned, by noticing your feelings for each vibration. Many alternative healing practitioners have discovered healing Sounds. One instrument that always uplifts me is the didgeridoo. Also the recorder, pan flute and symphonic flute.

My mother loved Liberace, which is one reason I chose those pieces today. Like smells and fragrances, Music can take us to a specific time and place in our memories. These pieces I chose did that for me and reminded me of our mother writing in our baby books. She wrote about my sister Charmaine, when she was about four years old, saying, “What is that sound? Oh, it is me singing.” We all laughed at that memory a lot. Another fun thing my sister did with Music as an adult made me laugh, but was also very effective: she played John Philip Sousa marches to inspire her to iron and do housework. Doing this can’t help but make you laugh and lighten up.

I invite you to explore the power of Sound, Music and Frequency to uplift your own unique vibration and be your Bridge to Love and Light.

Silence, Stillness and Simplicity

Carmel Beach – Photo by Hana Wilkins

Three words that carry so much power in our lives. These states can often be overlooked in our busy, noisy world. Each, when practiced regularly can bring us to the realization that our happiness comes from within.

“Be still, and know that I am God” says it all. Silence is golden.

Stillness Speaks, Eckhart Tolle’s powerful book, reminds us of our Divine Presence within.

Simplicity shows us we can quickly return to our Highest Self just by breathing and touching our heart. (HeartMath Institute, Gregg Braden).

Happiness springs up easily from that stillness within because Joy is our true Nature.

“The Music of Silence” is a beautiful demonstration of these principles. It is an autobiographical movie about the life of one of my all time favorite singers, Andrea Bocelli. His singing and voice/life coach teaches him that in order to have the best depth of quality from his voice he needs to practice Silence.

Andrea has achieved more than his best quality by practicing silence. He has achieved transcendence in his singing. I had the opportunity of seeing one of his live performances. The audience, including me, experienced that transcendence; we cried, felt love and had goosebumps together throughout the performance. Speechless, awed and happy I left that concert feeling the high self and spirit of that incredible beingness of Andrea Bocelli.  Truly inspiring.

When we are in touch with our inner stillness, silence, the simplicity of our God Self has a chance to guide us and bring the smallest and greatest aspects of our lives into transcendence. My mom’s famous Lemon Meringue pie was definitely transcendent. Never to be duplicated. As a child I would join her sitting on the couch and ask her, “What are you doing?” She would respond, “I’m just Being.” “Oh, Being.” I always remembered that feeling that it was OK to just Be. Now I realize that her beingness and stillness went right into her transcendent Lemon Meringue pie and all of her cooking.

We all have very unique, transcendent, Divine qualities to share that can be encouraged to make themselves known by practicing mindfulness, meditation, stillness, simplicity and just Being. My wish is that you will know how incredibly wonderful you are and that you will share your own transcendent qualities even if just for yourself.

Don’t worry. Be happy.

Contemplation, Mindful Movement and Meditation

Contemplation, Mindful movement, and Meditation
Photo by Hana Wilkins. Teton Creek, Idaho

Last week we discovered how simple it is to create Love, Peace and Harmony in our lives. These qualities help us have more health, happiness and contentment.

I want to share my favorite forms of these practices that have been my personal bridges of love-light. I love joy, fun and happiness. These activities of light have helped me truly and immeasurably to be happy, be joy and be myself.

Often friends tell me of the upset and anxiety in their lives and I ask, “Do you meditate?” As often the response is, “No, I don’t have time.” My favorite response I borrowed from a zen proverb: “You should sit in meditation for 20 minutes a day, unless you’re too busy; then you should sit for an hour.”

I’ve experienced over and over that mediating gives me more time in my day. Synchronicity, serendipity, harmony and peace of mind create the space for great ideas and solutions to problems. Who to call, when to go and where; your own Divine intuition enhanced and louder.

My favorite forms are Mindful Walking, sitting on a bench in a garden, Tai chi, taking an almost-nap in the sun, sitting on the sand at the ocean’s edge, walking on the beach or, as the Japanese say, “forest bathing.” Choose a form that works for you. You don’t have to be formally meditating as a Zen Monk to receive the many benefits of stilling your mind and being in your heart– as Eckhart Tolle teaches us in Stillness Speaks.

What I learned from his holiness, The Dalai Lama, is that what he gets from meditation is “nothing.” What he doesn’t get is what is important: he doesn’t get get anger, anxiety and a lack of peace of mind.

He teaches us: “The source of a happy life is within us… Peace of mind is within us; it requires that we develop a warm heart and use our intelligence. People often don’t realize that warmheartedness, compassion, and love are actually factors for our survival.” (From The Dalai Lama on Why Leaders Should Be Mindful, Selfless, and Compassionate, by The he Dalai Lama with Rasmus Hougaard, published in the Harvard Business Review February 20, 2019.)

The photo above demonstrates stillness in movement. The creek is flowing and still and clear at the same time. For me, the clear mirror image in the photo’s picture of stillness is how we reflect our Creator in the stillness. We hear our “still small voice.”

The Divine Mystery of Trees

mystery of trees

First graders, six- and seven-year-olds, know that trees are people, too. I had the joy of observing this fact one summer when I taught a series of Nature Camps for children. We went to a local park that had seven young coast redwood trees, and I had seven young participants. The instructions for the children were simple: choose a tree, name it, be with it for a while and ask it what would make it more comfortable. All of the children went right to work with no questions asked. Some quickly gathered rocks from the creek bed to make a circle of protection around their tree, and others went to the fountain to get their adopted tree water. I was delighted to hear the names they chose and how quickly each had made friends with their tree and why they had chosen the names.

Many indigenous people call trees the standing people. I feel this way, too.

A few summers ago I was camping in a new place and felt uneasy. My tent was near a very old oak tree. As I was silently standing by it, all of a sudden I saw a spirit-being who jumped out for just a moment and said: “Don’t worry. I will protect you.” Wow.

I had known about dryads, tree spirits, but I had never seen one. That feeling of protection, wonder and the Divine Mystery of Mother Nature stayed with me and brought me comfort.

A delightful book, How to Catch a Fairy, by Gilly Sergiev, reports: “Every tree, bush, or thicket growing has a female dryad and hamadryad spirit joined to it. Able to separate from its wooden host the dryads are the ancient guardians of trees, much communicated with and contacted by Druids for inspiration and advice.”

I hadn’t discovered this book until months after I had the experience with the Dryad near my campsite oak tree. The photo in that book is very similar to the one I had seen, only mine had jet black hair and the one in the book has light auburn hair.

Eckhart Tolle, in Stillness Speaks, reports “Through you nature becomes aware of itself. Nature has been waiting for you, as it were, for millions of years.”

You will easily communicate with trees if you allow a few moments of silence standing next to one. Even better, if there is grass or moist, soft earth underneath your new friend, stand barefoot. Five minutes is plenty to breathe in the prana and enjoy any inspiration or thoughts you receive. Or, ask the tree, “How can I make you more comfortable?” This will get the conversation going. My wish is that you will continue this practice and enjoy the peace, wisdom and joy it will give you.

The photos accompanying this post are of trees in my front yard. Each has a very special healing frequency that I take advantage of often. I asked that they send that bridge of love-light to you. They are two of the 85 varieties of Eucalyptus trees. Eucalyptus can have a bad reputation for breaking limbs, falling over and being messy, though that is only one very common variety. Check into the other 84 varieties that are beautiful with gorgeous flowers and fragrances and not as many “vices.”

Another valuable new (2017) booklet you may enjoy as much as I have is The Wisdom of Trees Oracle: Oracle Cards for Wisdom and Guidance by Jane Struthers. This booklet comes with a deck of beautifully illustrated cards. The booklet contains a section for each of 40 trees on their history, scientific facts, legends around each and message from the Deva of each. Also, Jane explains in detail how to tune into trees. Highly recommended. The quality of the cards, the art and the research included in an easy-to-understand format is that of a much more expensive deck with booklet. Enjoy. The trees are missing you.
